Go to a beauty supply shop and ask for a good deep conditioner. Before you go to bed, shampoo using a very gentle shampoo on your scalp only (the hair will be cleansed when you rinse the suds out), then blot your hair with a towel (don't rub), and apply the deep conditioner. Don't rinse. Pin your hair up if it's long, and then put on a shower cap or wrap it up in a towel. Sleep with the conditioner in your hair, and rinse it out in the morning.

Put on a good leave-in conditioner before you style your hair - if you can stand it, let your hair air-dry, and avoid using heat-styling tools on your hair because they'll cause more damage. Do the deep conditioning treatment at least once a week.

Also, when you shampoo during the week, wet your hair and apply some regular cheap conditioner to the hair below your ears before you shampoo - that will protect it from being stripped by the shampoo. Shampoo, rinse, then follow with a good conditioner on your ends.

I'm a hair stylist and I personally had very damaged hair a few months ago form flat ironing it so much, so I know how frustrating it is to want healthy hair again!! I highly recommend that you use Pureology shampoo and conditioner, in the hydrate system bottle's. Even though this is a salon product they sell it at target and some drugstores. However its expensive. But i promise its worth it. =]
