Sure, the insulin resistance diet allows you to have anything you want, just in the right proportion. I've lost 10 1/2 pounds in three weeks on it.

Yes you can.
There's one diet program that I've used, that aims to sidestep the typical lousy feeling associated with dieting and aims for a condition known as "runner's high" through dieting, making you feel great while you loose weight.
You've probably heard of Zone diet.
What I found was that while you need to control your intake of carbs (most candies are just empthy carbs, meaning they have very low nutritional value) the focus is on maintaining balanced meals throughout the day with targeted food portions of carbs, proteins, and fats.
And speaking from personal experience, the diet works!
It makes you feel great and in combination with moderate exercise regimen, it is a great way to lose or maintain weight.
Ok, zone diet is still "dieting", you have to balance the meals based on the science how insulin levels react to food, but that's just the way things are, and in my books, I consider it more of a lifestyle rather than a diet.

Portion control, and a min of 30 of cardio every other day and you will be guaranteed to loose the correct amount of weight.
Remeber the healthy way to take off weight is a pound to a pound 1/2 a week. Anything more then that is not permanent weightloss and is a fad diet!
I always tell people it took you so and so months to put it on; count on it being so and so months before you are back to your normal.
Patience is virtue!

You can by making better choices. Instead of soda drink water or unsweetened ice tea. Instead of french fries with your burger get a saled. Instead of a beef burger try a turkey burger. Small change like that can make a difference. I always say it's not good to cut out things out completly because you will end up pigging out and feeling guilty!

Just eat till your stomach says it's full enuff. Don't eat all your food just because it's there. Good idea to stay away from sweets. Try fruit instead of candy.

diet is a way of eating.
everyone is on some kind of diet only is it good or bad way you nourish yourself.
there is no restrictions but you have to ask yourself
see , when you are thirsty for example, your body asks for water not for coke or sprite. where you take your energy from is up to you but remember YOUR BODY WILL STORE ENERGY THAT YOU DID NOT USE .

"diet" by definition means what you eat, whether it's pure sugar or no sugar or anything in between. what you eat is your diet. if you eat healthy and exercise, you can lose weight. you eat what you want, but you eat the right portion. it's just that people now say "diet" when they mean "weight loss diet". in England, they say "slimming", which makes more sense to me.
