If I should indeed die a lonely, painful, and long death then it is a result of past negative karma that I have yet to resolve; however, if I have completely freed myself from attachment through the keeping of the four noble truths, and the following of the noble eight fold path I will have achieved enlightenment and experienced Nirvana thus stopping the wheel of samsara from turning, and breaking the cycle of rebirth, suffering and death.

If my existence in this world passes without putting an end to attachment, then I will be reborn either in this world or another where I will continue to hold the four noble truths and follow the noble eight fold path until I have ceased with attachment, achieved enlightenment and experienced Nirvana.

My great-grandmother on my dad's side died of a brain aneurysm when she was 97. My great-grandmother on my mother's side died of heart failure when she was 102. In both cases, it was quick and a surprise. I take care of my body-eat well and exercise and longevity runs in my family, obviously, so I doubt my death will be long or painful. However, my grandfather died of lung cancer b/c he smoked when he was younger. That was a long and painful death. It was horrible! Many Christians smoke so I think there's a good chance a Christian will die a long, painful death, but not me.

see the photos in my profile or 360 page and realize yes most people go the heaven, because its a funeral, however only the real god is present with the "n" man. the h man is God and the n man is his part of one arm missing grandfather.

your thoughts cease when put in the grave thus you just stop thinking which in a way is peacefull especially if you hate thinking and worrying alot.

Hopefully straight to heaven because the dying process you described has already been time spent in hell.

If I'm destined for a long and painful death, why can't I make life worth my while?

Are you somehow able to predict that my death will be painful and long and that I will be alone?

You need to remember that your bible warns against fortune-tellers.
