Before I chose to go the vegetarian route, my favorite sandwich consisted of turkey, swiss cheese, black olives, mushrooms, romaine lettuce, and a drop of mayo on whole wheat bread. Now that I no longer eat meat, I am searching for the perfect veggie-based sandwich.

Home made BLT on thick brown bread, really crispy bacon straight from the grill, crunchy lettuce, big slices of juicy tomatos and lashings upon lashings of hellmans mayonaise!!!!! My favorite! I always get a craving for one on Christmas eve about 2 o'clock in the morning, that and a McChicken sandwich wid loads of mayo.... strange....
Just thought I'd share that!

3 slices of thin wholegrain bread buttered. a thin layer of cheese, with a scattering of sweetcorn and woucester sauce. place a buttered bread slice on top and then a smearing of my lovely homemade chilli chutney, with spinach leaves layered on top of that. Then top with thinky sliced chicken, slightly topped with a bit more cheese, place the 3rd bread slice on top and press down firmly on it using a hard object like a chopping board. Place under the grill for a few minutes until nicely toasted, turn over and repeat.

It has taken years to develop this mouth watering yummy creation, and I love it!

Well, it depends.
If we're talking savoury, then probably carvings of Sunday's chicken roast on fresh crusty bread with lemon stuff and lots of seasoning.
If we're in a sweet mood - crusty bread again, loads of cold butter and lashings of blackcurrant jam.
