Yes, Jesus was with God before he came to earth.

In other words Jesus is God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
(John 1:1,2)

The Trinity is a Church Doctrine that appeared in about 324 or 325 after Christ. No where is it found in scripture. (It's man's thoughts, or Doctrine of men)
The Scriptures support that Jesus was created by God as his First creation. See Proverbs 8:22-31, Colosians 1:15-17, Revelation 3:14, Micah 5:2, John 17:5.
In no way can one who was created be equil to Almighty God, but He can be a beloved son who was allowed to help his father do all things. He himself said that the father was greater? John 14:28, John 20:17, 1 Cor 11:3,

The Father was not made, nor created, nor generated by anyone. The Son is not made, nor created, but begotten by the Father alone. The Holy Spirit is not made, nor created, nor generated, but proceeds from the Father and the Son. There is, then, one Father, not three Fathers; one Son, not three sons; one Holy Spirit, not three holy spirits. In this Trinity, there is nothing before or after, nothing greater or less. The entire three Persons are coeternal and coequal with one another. So that in all things, as is has been said above, the Unity is to be worshiped in Trinity and the Trinity in Unity.

Jesus existed before He was incarnated. See John 1:1.

Whom do Men say that I am?

Authentic Trinitarianism may be viewed as a delicate balancing act between modalism and tritheism.

Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints/Mormons
* Christ is the product of a sexual relationship between the Father and a goddess. Satan is his brother.

Jehovah’s Witnesses
* Jesus (also known as Michael the archangel) is a creation and the Holy Spirit is a force.

Muslims
* Christ was a great prophet.

Orthodox Christian Definition of the Trinity:
** One God who eternally exists in three different persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all of whom are fully God, all of whom are equal.

Jesus was with God before the earth was here.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Think about what is being said here.
Give it some thought.
Who was the Word?

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Right again, Jesus.

Yes. It's in the Apostles Creed and it's here "The Apocryphon of John (The Secret Book of John - The Secret Revelation of John)" at this link http://www.gnosis.org/naghamm/apocjn.html

He begot a spark of light with a light resembling blessedness. But it does not equal his greatness. This was an only-begotten child of the Mother-Father which had come forth; it is the only offspring, the only-begotten one of the Father, the pure Light.

"And the invisible, virginal Spirit rejoiced over the light which came forth, that which was brought forth first by the first power of his forethought, which is Barbelo. And he anointed it with his goodness until it became perfect, not lacking in any goodness, because he had anointed it with the goodness of the invisible Spirit. And it attended him as he poured upon it. And immediately when it had received from the Spirit, it glorified the holy Spirit and the perfect forethought, for whose sake it had come forth.

"And it requested to give it a fellow worker, which is the mind, and he consented gladly. And when the invisible Spirit had consented, the mind came forth, and it attended Christ, glorifying him and Barbelo. And all these came into being in silence.

Jehovah God the Almighty created Michael his only begotten son ...then God commissioned his son to build everything else for him.

So in the beginning of our universe God and Michael was. Jehovah was the Almighty God and Michael was a mighty god.

When mankind had sinned and fallen from a perfect state...they needed a perfect ransom. Jehovah sent his son to pay for the Adamic sin so that His original purpose for the earth being a paradise filled with righteous people could be accomplished.

When the angel appeared to Mary, he told her God's son would be implanted in her and she was to call his name Jesus.

When Jesus was baptized he became the anointed one or Christ.

When he died and his sacrifice was accepted by God he went back to heaven as Michael once again.

But mankind calls him Jesus and he is our savior...and will rule for 1000 years, bring mankind and the earth back to perfection and hand it back to his father.

Jesus was always with God. In Revelation it says, "Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world." Rev. 13:8

God said in the beginning "Let US make man in our image."
Jesus and the Holy Spirit were with God in the beginning creating the world and man. Genesis 1:26

Good question! There is nothing in the bible anywhere pointing to the existence of god's son before the new testement. Seems kinda odd that god would have a son and no wife to bear him though. Isn't marriage supposed to be pleasing in his eyes?
