Lol, well I live in New York, and have never been to London so my opinion is one sided... Ive got to go with the Big Apple and support my own :) Nothing against the people of London Im sure its beautiful!

London by far.
Manhattan has a great and storied history and it is certainly influential financially. The vibe in the bars and on the streets is not as vibrant as I thought it would be given its history and influence.
London however has both of Manhattan's salient characterisitcs in addition to have a socio-cultural vibrance. You can forget what country you are in when in London, there's soo much diversity, oppurtunity, facets etc. The many buroughs and communities within London are bumping with people tooling around at most hours of the day most days of the week. I haven't found that (yet) in Manhattan.
This in entirely my perspective though, Big Apple people go ahead, chime in!

I would have to say New york. Maybe that's because i'm from ny! I like it better because it's cheaper! London is beautiful but a bit overwhelming! I think if i was rich i might have a different opinion!

I went to college in London but I would have to say NYC. Something about the frenetic energy that is palpable. You really have so much to do whether it is going to an awesome restaurant, museums, plays, or my personal favorite nightlife.
New York's energy is a lot like Las Vegas. Funny but you never seem to get tired in those places no matter how late it is...now that is exciting!

Of course I like the Big Apple the best. The comparison is really unfair since each has its own charm. London Town should be in the first place,as well. May we have 1 and 1A ? Thank you

London! There is so much to see and do, I never felt unsafe even in the middle of the night, the people are friendly, the public transporation is very easy to figure out... I can't even think of one thing I like better in NY.

London, very architectural and full of history as well as fashionable. I love the hustle without the stress that . New York cosmopolitan and very stressful and busy.
