It depends on where you are flying from.................. if you're coming in, from a different country, then yes - you will need a passport. If you live in the US - then no, you do not need a passport. If you live in the US and wish to fly to another country - then you will need a passport.

No, you don't need a passport to fly within the country. Just a license or picture ID. But if you want to fly anywhere outside the US then you do have to have a passport. Which takes a really long time to get, so don't plan on going anywhere for a few months if you don't have a passport.

Although it may not seem like it, California is a US state, and a US citizen does not need a passport to travel to California. Only when leaving the country.

no count the place interior the international you commute, your passport will do exactly wonderful w/o the different variety of identity...and confident, Hawaii has been a state for about forty yrs now. BTW, how interior the international are you getting by skill of in CA w/o a state identity? you decide on it for surely each thing in CA.

Believe it or not, California IS part of the US. Assuming you are currently in the US, you will not need a passport to visit CA.
