i have a spider tat,i was bit by a black widow on my finger,i started having difficulty breathing, convulsions a fever of 106,you know all that good stuff.the hospital i went to turned me away,i think cuz i had no insurance.i thought i was going to die so i prayed to God and made a promise i would try to live life better.the next morning i felt great even though my finger swelled up.a few days later my grandfather went to the hospital so i decided to ask a doc about my swollen finger,he immediately knew it was from a black widow and was surprised i was ok with no medical treatment for the bite, they drained the infection and told me if i had of waited another day they would of had to amputate,i play guitar so that really would have sucked.so its a reminder of my promise and all the things God has done for me.

I have 3 tattoos and 2 are butterflies. Butterflies represent me growing up and breaking out of a destructive relationship. I am getting another butterfly to symbolize the beauty of my marriage now to the best man on earth. :)

I have a pink star gazer lily on my back. It is my favorite flower, to me it represents beauty, when I was younger a lot of people thought I was beautiful but my family pressured me to lose weight even though I was only a size 4! It made me feel bad about myself so I got the lily to remind myself that I can be beautiful no matter what people say. It also reminds me of my grandmother- we would always garden together, it was one of her favorite past times and she just passed away last summer about a month before I got it done. I also want to get a blue bird flying and in its beak holding a cross and ring that my grandmother gave me for my high school graduation.
