...do they pay it back in some sort of settlement? You know, like Sanctimony Payments?

I'm not sure that "Indian giver" is a very nice thing to say - at least in the pejorative sense it was used below. I mean I've known some very generous people from the sub-continent - what about Gandhi for Pete's sake?

But I'm wondering just how this contract between you and God is meant to work. I mean honestly, what could God possibly need money for?

No, it's a pay as you go plan, Fud. No refund if not delighted, even if you use your Mastercard.

You were doing it wrong. When they pass the plate you put in $1, but take out a $10 thats how I do it. If you live in an area that has alot of churches in one central location you can make $100 a day.

Your tithes are supposed to be between you and God, not you and the church.

It's your gift to God's work/charity. No you wouldn't get it back. Do you expect gifts back from people if you decide to scrub them? (Indian giver ?)

Don't play with money or faith. You lose both ways!
