MiMiRe, what if all involved parties give into the same given temptation? Would everyone feel used? What if it was so good that you'd do it again the next time you were given a chance?

Are you talking about these types of temptation and good feelings:
The temptation to drink, and wake up in vomit w/ a headache and a hang over?
The temptation to be promiscuous, and end up pregnant, with syphilis, or gonorrhea?
The temptation to drive at high speeds and recklessly crash and kill a passenger?
The temptation of smoking pot using other drugs, and forgetting you made plans with your younger sibling who looks up to you?

There is a reason for every commandment. If you give into the temptation to cheat on your spouse, you have ruined that relatioship, hurt them, and destroyed any credibility you have. If you steal from someone, you cause your neighbors to question each others honesty, and the person you stole from has to work that much harder to replace what you took. Giving into temptation is instant gratification. Resisting temptation leads to an eternity of rewards.

The act of temptation may feel good for the moment but in the end it's never fulfilling, you always fill empty and used in the end.

>>Why resist Temptation if it feels so good?<<

Because you don't want to end up 500 lbs, riddled with STDs, and in prison.
