God speaks through his word, the Bible. In the past, he used many ways and spoke on many occasions by means of prophets, etc. (Hebrews 1:1) However, now that the Bible has been completed (Revelation 22:18), it is all the communication from God that we need to live our lives in harmony with his purpose. 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 explains: "16 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."
He uses his messengers and directs them with his holy spirit to teach others what his word says. (Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20)

God is a Holy Spirit. He doen't have to physically reach down and answer any questions from anyone. He has set his Holy Spirit on the inside of people who have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior to do all of the foot work. I'm glad to do the foot work! : )

I suspect that God does. You just wouldn't be able to see it.

The lack of humility on this forum is astounding, there are many here who think that God is the slave of human beings and this question certainly reflects this mentality today.
