LOL, it would seem, since Imus said it! Ya know something though? No black American seemed offended by his comments, except for Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and a few white people in the media. It seems to me, that both Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson used this "drama", to get themselves back into the media, so they could get themselves recognized, and paid attention to. It seems to me most black individuals saw the humor in Imus' comment, as was intended by him, the same as I think when a black person calls me Cracker, or any other white person. It's so funny, I almost cry laughing! It's hysterical!

if "nappy headed ho" was said ten thousand times on a rap album, noone would care. Even if the rapper was white, and it sold ten million copies noone would care.

Even if the exact same joke was told in the exact same tone by someone like Howard Stern or another radio show, noone would care.

honestly, i don't care, and i don't understand why it's such a big deal.

Nappy isn't a racist term, if i don't brush my hair after i get out of the shower it gets nappy, if you think thats racist your an idiot, no matter what color your skin is.

And if women are offended by the word ho. You are also retarded. In my experience ho is used both as an insult and otherwise just as often by girls as it is by men.

So please, everybody. just shut the hell up

All I know is that if a black person on the radio had called Imus a long haired old cracker, nothing would have been said.

It is a racial slur just as other racial slurs about other racial/ethnic groups-- I won't mention any.... Its also about context and who says it.

Although-- listen to Stevie Wonder's song-- "I Wish"
"Looking back when I, was a little nappy headed boy"

Don't know. Imus was not that wrong in what he said. What about all this black comedians saying cracker all the time, should they all lose their jobs too?

I think the H word was more troubling than the N word.
