i am trying to hang posters in my daughters room.. but the thing is that the walls are brick painted with semi-gloss paint. so i can't use tacks and the tape and putty won't stick to the walls.. what should i do??? she really likes the posters but i don't wanna buy a frame for evey poster..

buy velcro

Get the kind made by 3M, you can get it at Wal Mart or Staples

It is sticky on one side, (stick it to the wall) and velcro on the other. The other piece is the same way, sticky one one side, (stick to poster) and velcro on other side.

The best thing to use in your situation is Fun Tag. It's a bit like play dough, but sticky. It's strong enough to hold the poster, but it rubs right off the wall without damaging the paint or the poster.

I would try the 3M hooks. They do no damage to the wall and can be moved fairly easy.
