It is the ergonomic shape. They stack well and go into your mouth for an exciting crunch! Plus, as a bonus, you can invert one and make the duck bill face.

as scoper said, it's the msg in them that makes them addictive. not particularly good for you, but if it doesn't really bother you then pringle away!
