I grew up in Italy and I remember running as a little girl in fields of pretty flowers (camomille), similar to daisies. My mother used to rinse my hair with boiled camomille.
Chamomile (also Camomille)
To lighten blond hair by one or two shades, brew a strong cup of chamomile tea and use it as a final rinse after shampooing, but do not rinse off the tea. Instead, towel dry and then expose the hair to the sun for a few minutes.
Make a very strong tea with camomille, let cool and put in plastic bottle to use on a regular basis after your shampoo.
If you go out in the sun, it works faster. You'll notice the difference after a few rinses. It is all natural.
Camomille is incredible. It is used for medicinal purposes, as a natural sleep aid, it can be given to babies to relieve colic...and many other uses.
You will probably notice shampoos and rinses made with camomille but the do-it-yourself preparation works better and faster.

You may try a product called sun-in, you can get it at any local CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart etc. It helps it work faster if you spend time in the sun, but I don't think you have too.
Although, doing anything natural or besides coloring your hair will take more than a day to lighten it. Sun in is cheap and it works well. Give it a try.
Good Luck!

I used to use "Sun In" which is pretty mild. You spray it on and go out in the sun, but I found that if you spray it on and use a blow dryer, the heat activates it and works a lot quicker (and more safely) than the sun. It lightens gradually, but you can do a couple treatments a day if you use the dryer.

Rinse with lemon juice. It won't instantly lighten your hair, but gradually, it will. You can put a little lemon juice on your hair and sit in the sun for a short period of time; this will lighten your hair faster, but it can also dry it out, so be careful.

sure sunlight-in works super, i attempted it in my hair, it did supply it a tiny little bit of an auburn tint, even though it regarded super, so attempt it in case you want to expeirment. additionally, merely putting beer or chamomile tea on your hair willl lighten it, my pal does that and her hair continuously seems healthful and shiney. Lemon juice works too. good success!

I haven't personally ever tried it myself, but I have friends who have tried a product called "Sun In" It comes in a small packet and is relatively cheap. I found it at most drug stores and in Walmart. I hope it works for you.
