Parks are important not dangerous. If a park is dangerous it is not the park but the people in it. I love visiting parks and when i have kids i plan to go to as many of the national ones as i can. As well as the state parks i like.
I live in Indiana and try to make it to turkey run when i can i love that place.
community parks are important too. It gives people a good place to picnic and play outdoor games. They are even more important if you are in an area where most people don't have yards.

Inherently a park is not, unless you count all the decrepit equipment that kids play on and chance of hurting themselves. Otherwise it's the people who hang out in that said park. There's a very nice park just down the street from me. When you add the homeless, drug addicts, gang-bangers, perverts, people who let their dogs run loose, then it becomes a problem for society.

Some people are dangerous to society.
Deal with the creeps and the parks will do just fine.
Haven't yet found a park I didn't like and no park has ever done harm to me or anyone I know.

which society? The most dangerous thing to a society is group think. It destroys and sacrifices the individual.
Imagine if a strong brick wall that destroyed it's individual bricks one by one, what would happen. Don't participate in group think like that.

Pedophiles can lurk nearby or from a distance.
Some don't have fences surrounding the area.
Some charge you for access, poor people might not have enough money to enjoy it.
Some have lakes and some people partake in boating recklessly.
