We live in a really sad world when people are saying it is not ok for a little girl to run about with no pants on because of paedophiles. She was with her mother, she was safe.
Some of the answers here seem to be saying the mother is pandering to the proclivities of paedophiles - this is like saying that women in short skirts deserve to get raped! It's almost like people are saying she was making her daughter tempting to paedophiles?! Surely it is not the freedom of children that should be curtailed but the freedom of those who would harm them? Also - there are not paedophiles everywhere. Attacks by predatory paedophiles are extremely rare and their frequency has been static for the last decade. Most victims of abuse are abused by someone known to them. Stop scaremongering and let children enjoy some freedom to be children rather than growing up in constant fear.

I think it's fine - let her enjoy her childhood.

Jennanderton.... you are practically insane! Catch an STD or a yeast infection? That's mental (and not possible). Be arrested for public nudity? You ARE joking right? If not I pity your poor children.

I would say that maybe you should've taken her home. Nowadays there are so many people preying on small children you have to be extremely careful. With your child being only three maybe you should always bring an extra pair of clothing for her. Not to say you did anything wrong just be careful of that next time.

Well is matters was the shirt long? If it covered at least past her butt it woulda been fine but other than that probley not most people these days are perverts. Next time put a pull-up on her or bring more cloths is my tip :)

I probably would have taken her home and gotten some clean clothes, but that is just me. There are too many nut jobs that hang around parks looking at kids. I wouldn't want to open up the opportunity for them to get a thrill off my daughter being naked from the waist down.

no i do not think that is OK, if it was your yard it would be OK or maybe at a relatives house, but i do not think that is OK at all in a public place, there are a lot of sick people out there why would you give them a free show, when your child said she did not want to go, i read your other question, you should have been the parent and taken her home, who is the boss here? and what about the other parents, you can't know what their beliefs are or push that on them, it's about respect for others, no matter how you feel about there views,

I can see why you did it. and it is done now, but I wouldn't do it again. I would just have spare knickers lying round every where, stick a pair in your bag and a pair in the buggy and one in the car. If she had knickers on it wouldn't have mattered at all.

How dare you allow your child to be naked in public like that? There are pedophiles everywhere and the park is one place they really like to go to so they can see the little kids. You're sick. And if you think abuse is only hurting a child you are very wrong.

You seem like a very immature mother. Why didn't you just go home. That was disgusting.

I think that kids should be able to run around naked but in their own home or a relatives home because you never know who is watching like peados! I would have taken her home to get changed or bought her some new clothes from a nearby shop.
