THIS MAY SOUND STRANGE, BUT MY KIDS USE TOOTHPASTE FOR THEIR ACNE. PUT IT ON AT NIGHT AFTER YOU HAVE WASHED YOUR FACE, THEN RINSE IT OFF IN THE MORNING. IT WORKS GREAT. IT MAY TAKE A FEW APPLICATIONS TO CLEAR IT UP.

do a detox diet, I am in my mid 20's and have chronic fairly severe acne. The only real way to beat it is to eat very healthy, check out a well balanced diet, with all food groups, usually a detox diet with no sugars or carbs. My skin was great in just 1 week. The problem is I can't afford so many fresh veggies and lean meats to stay on the diet for long. The diet I have used before is a book, called : "The one day Detox diet", or something like that. It actually takes about 10 days, you flush your system then rebuild healthy enzymes.

i totally agree with karol, i have use toothpaste on my face and it works amazingly, the best i have found it crest original. put it on a damp face and wash it off when you wake up. also you could try cleaning your face with a cotton ball soaked in witch hazel, but it will dry your face so you will need to apply moisurizer.

if it does not clear up you can try a quick fix i read in a cosmopolitan mag, lighten the redness by putting a couple drops of visine on your pimples. it takes the redness away for atleast a couple hours.

The most effective treatment I know of for acne, is to even-out your hormone level. Dr.s do prescribe a low dose of hormone/birth control to address acne.
