I was going to go with both in the begining since I had six bridesmaids (3 in fuchsia and 3 in magenta) but now there is only 5 and I have to choose either one color or get another girl to be my sixth bridesmaid... All the girls are light olive skin tone and have medium dark features what would go best??? Its a Sept wedding.....

I agree - magenta would look best for a fall wedding.
Also - if you are set on having 2 different colors it would still look good to have 3 in one color and 2 in the other, then stagger them

I think magenta is a bit darker and would probably be preferred by the bridesmaids since it's less gaudy. Since there are 5 bridesmaids, you could take a vote. One color will win either way.

Since these are jewel tones, how about 2 in magenta, 2 in fuchia, and the maid of honor in dark purple? Like amythist?

I would go with Dark Magenta(the girls will love you for it lol)
I don't think the Fuchsias brightness will go with Olive skin.
Also If one of your sisters is married, she can be your Matron of Honor and you other sister your Maid of Honor. Or they can both serve as Maids of Honor.

why do you need to have 6 bridesmaids? you said you have 5 now, so just stick with the 5. you can alternate the colors still with no problem.
at my wedding i had 5 bridesmaids and there were 4 groomsmen. the whole symmetry thing is overrated

If you want both colors, then simply have 3 in one color, and 2 in the other.
Aren't they both really the same color anyway though? Really dark, bright pink.......I would maybe go with something that contrasts a little more with each other....but it's your wedding. Do what makes you happy! Good luck!

You can still do both. 3 in one color, 2 in the other. I think that would look cute.
Or maybe, 4 girls in one color and your maid of honor gets the other color, so she stands out as being important to you and the ceremony.

FOR ONE WHAT IS THE COLOR SCHEME? I FOR ONE
HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO BECOME A WEDDING
COORDINATOR. SO MAYBE I CAN HELP U OUT. I FEEL
THAT DARK COLORS ARE FOR WINTER, BUT AT THE SAME TIME FUCHSIA IS A BEAUTIFUL COLOR AND
CAN ALSO BE A SPRING COLOR. LIKE I SAID IT IS YOUR
DAY AND YOU SHOULD GO WITH WHAT YOU LIKE AND
EVEYTHING ELSE SHOULD FALL INTO PLACE. AND
IF THE LADIES HAVE ALREADY ORDERED THEIR
DRESSES THEN LEAVE IT AS IS . PEOPLE WILL
ALWAYS HAVE THEIR OPINOINS. IT IS YOUR DECISION..
SO RUN WITH IT... GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MARRIAGE
AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER..........
