You didn't mention your height, if you're petite, 3lbs is a lot. In many cases there is a weight exchange, you'll lose body fat but gain muscle. You won't see a change in pounds at first. Concentrate on body changes.
I've tried hydroxycut cut but it was too dehydrating. When I'm dehydrated I want to eat more.
Keep at it and be willing to adjust your routine.
You might want to spend more time with stretching, Pilates like moves are amazing, they tone muscles and create flexibility. Spend more time doing intense slow stretching.

well, loosing a pound a week is good. Keep it up for another 15 weeks and you'll have lost 18 pounds.
Your losses are a little slow though.
Make sure you are drinking enough water, but it sounds like you've done your nutrition homework so you probably already are.
You might try getting your thyroid checked. This is an easy procedure for a doctor to do, and a hypothyroid condition will make you tend to keep weight on. It's an easy condition to correct, just takes a pill every morning.
Don't resistance train more than four days a week, and stick to low weight high reps (sets of 15 or 20) if you are trying to get smaller.
And remember that weight isn't everything. How are your clothes fitting? It's possible that you've lost some six or seven pounds of fat but put on three pounds of muscle. Nothing wrong with that! When I'm being lazy and not working out I weigh about 200 lbs. When I'm training all the time I still weigh about 200 lbs, but I look a lot better in a swimsuit.
And stick with it. A girl I was with years ago was training 5-6 days a week like you, and for a couple of months it didn't do much, but then the weight just seemed to melt off her and she lost like 30 pounds and looked fantastic. The mainstay of her program was 45 minutes a day on the eliptical trainer.
Good luck!

Don't take the pills. You are doing great. A pound a week is a great start. It's healthy to lose between 1-2 lbs a week. It takes time, but believe me the lbs will shed. I started working out again in Jan and it took a good month/six weeks to see a big change in weight. Plus if you are lifting weights you will gain muscle mass (which weighs more than fat). Take measurements and watch you will lose inches. Keep up the good work!

First of all remember one thing...when working out like you are you are obviously gaining muscle....muscle weighs more then the fat you are burning. Don't worry about weight for a minute and check to see if you are losing inches on your waist and problem areas....toning....check out this site for great exercises...and a way to train...

make sure you eat enough calories and drink lots of water. if you don't eat enough, your body goes into starvation mode and won't shed pounds. also, measure yourself to see if you're losing inches instead of pounds. you might be building muscles that weight more than fat.

You are looking for miracles. It takes just as much time to get in shape as it does to get out of shape. Be patient and stick with it. Results will come.
