I'd say yes, if they want to. My brother has a girlfriend, and they both wear promise rings, so I think an engagement ring is just a step up from that. I don't think it would be flashy, like a female engagement ring with a stone in it, but more like a simple wedding band, yes, I think he can wear it.

If a man want's to wear an engagement ring I guess they could but I have never seen a man wear one..

Most men won't. They want to keep that ring finger bare as long as possible.
I don't wear my engagement ring all the time though either....so I suppose me and my guy are even ;)

yes. In fact my Husband wanted one. It's just a men's ring with a Solitaire Diamond.

yes. Mine hubby wore his wedding band as an engagement ring. If I'm "tagged as taken", then so is he.
It also made social situations less akward for people who did not know we were engaged. and yes, I bought it for him.

My b/f asked for one when we got engaged, he wanted to wear one so why not? It's not like a big flashy diamond or anything like that.

Absolutely. I proposed to my husband with an attractive men's band with a diamond. He continues to wear it as his wedding band. We've been married 11 years.
