Where are you supposed to keep your pillow shams at night?

I know that they're decoration only and not for sleeping but are you supposed to throw it on the floor while you sleep, keep it under your sleeping pillow, at your feet???

I have a very pretty storage chest in my room where I store the pillows every night. It takes a little dicipline to make putting them away and taking them out every day part of your routine, but the chest was my grandfather's and I love using it.

I have 6 pillows on my bed. The 2 pillows that are covered with shams are in the front of the others during the day, at night I just put them behind the others. Works out fine. Lean it against your wall or headboard and put your other pillows in front and go to sleep. Goodnight!

Your qu made me think. You asked "What are you SUPPOSED to do. . . . " It was the suppose word that made me interested.

All my childhood I was told that this and that was "how one does it" Now as an adult, I have found that you can keep the used egg cartons for a useful project, or you can toss them. The egg carton police do not come banging on the door.

There are preferred methods of doing things: wash your hands b4 you eat anything (or get ill maybe - the choice is made by the adult in question), and answer the front door bell quickly if you are at home (there again, if you hide by the sofa and cannot be seen, the knocker person will leave and not get the "You did not answer the door" police to come over.)

Suppose is a word that I try to use infrequently. It assumes that we are all alike and should all do the same things the same way. Not so!

Now about the pillows: Do what ever feels OK to YOU.

I also throw mine on the floor. It's much easier and makes me want to make my bed again the next morning.
