I have never had an injury there and cannot decide if it is an inflammation of muscle tissue, or lining of bone or body cavity. It feels better after a bath or a night of sleep.

It is painful to bend down or to the right and painful to raise upright. I have not stained anything, just simply woke up with the pain one morning. It feels like back pain, and is located near the hip in the back.

Overuse of a muscle can bring on acute pain. Even though you may not think you're using a muscle if you stand or sit for long periods of time you are using your muscles.

The fact that you feel better after a bath for me indicates muscle spasm. Continue doing a bath every night and dissolve 2c. of Epsom salts in the water to help pull out the inflammation.

Lack of minerals can also cause muscle pain. I suggest you use 1tsp. of alfalfa powder daily and a calcium and magnesium capsule twice daily.

if you have any further questions please let me know,

Without really seeing you or at least a diagram showing where the pain is i can only guess that you might have kidney problems stones or infection .
other then that if it is lower right at the hip cuff then i would think you might have strained the cuff and so might benefit from anti inflammatory tablets or injections.
at any rate if your in such pain then you should see your physician
