I think this is a good point. (Though I think the poor Christians think they're persecuted when anyone just slightly disagrees with them.) We can rip eachother apart and say anything about Pagans, Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists, etc... but the second we say anything adverse about Muslims, we do get the smackdown. Evidently there's a serious sensitivity issue there? I mean people accuse me of being everything from a baby and pet murderer to a child molester just because I'm Pagan. You don't see me running around reporting every idiot who says something ignorant - but then I don't take it personally because it isn't true.

"Clown"? Literally? I don't think so.
The Christians are the protected group here - you're just not used to being questioned at all, because in larger society Christians are protected even more.
Islam gets more than its share of insult here, and the repercussions are no more than for insults of Christians or atheists.

Question anyone's beliefs, even mine. I don't care. It's not like I haven't thought things out for myself. As for Islam, I find it as likely to be true as the Hulk. If they can't handle the heat, stop making the explosives. (For some, they may need to take this literally, for most, I mean your "holy" book provides non-believers with plenty of ammunition to blow it apart verbally. So don't cry; get a sense of humor.) I am an atheist by the way, and you can believe whatever you want to believe. But if you attack my beliefs, you better have a lot of ammo.

Christians have been doing it for over 2000 years. EVERY time someone says something they dont like, they start a war, slaugher each other...and report your answer on Yahoo Answers. A thumbs down is not good enough for them, they have to find some way of HURTING you because atheists and science make so much sense.
Religion worldwide is on the decline, they have nothing else to fight with except suicide bombings and reporting your post.

Well... it's "the poor Christians" who do the majority of the "ripping" towards Islam.
Not to mention that MOST of the people who question Islam do it in an insulting manner.
