Done separately, fine. Doing both at the same time is plain stoopid.

In one word "DON"T". I used to drink socially but never got drunk, just sick and passed out once, was not driving but could have been robbed and I was only 18 at the time but smart enough to quit. But I did drink sometimes, no more that two mixed drinks, one when we got there and one just before we left so the was a hour or two in between. Haven't had a drink since I got married 59 years ago, never missed it. Also quit smoking 38 years ago, haven't missed the either. There was fellow who got drunk, drove on the wrong side of the highway and hit a van head on, killed the mother and her baby, he lived. Now he is up on very serious charges, happened in Austin Texas. At least he won' have to worry about how to make a living and pay bills for a long time.

It is horrible..

If you have one drink, it is too many to be behind the wheel. You are taking your life in your own hands along with everyone else on the road. It is a selfish act and should never be done.

Go home and drink or have a designated driver. It is the very least you can do. Why should someone die or get crippled for life just so YOU can get a buzz??

If you drink ,and get behind that wheel, you are doing a premeditated murder IF, you have an accident and kill someone. You "decided" to drink and drive. You should be held responsible for your decision..

It is NEVER OK to drink and drive...

Drinking is NOT, NOT, NOT a disease. It is a conscious act. YOU "decide" to go to the beer store and buy that alcohol and drink it. Thus you have chosen to it.

The "YOU" does not actually mean YOU. I am talking to the folks who do this..

I'm totally against it. What do you get out of driving while drunk? Obviously we all know that it will end up killing someone. I just don't understand why people still do it even though they know that it will be a problem. I hate people who think they can still drive after a couple of drinks. It's a dangerous world.

Driving while drinking WHAT? If you are referring to something that can impair your judgment, your attention to detail, and your reaction time, then it's a VERY VERY VERY VERY bad idea. It's dangerous, stupid, and just asking for trouble. I always have something to drink with me in the car, though......either a mug of coffee or that same mug filled with iced tea. Even with that, extreme care must be taken.

Is never alright. People who do this repeatedly dont care about other people at all. They hurt people and are still willing to continue doing so. This is like letting the sex offenders live near our children. More needs to be done to keep these people off the road. Driving drunk kills, I've seen it all too often. Even my own brother totalled my van when he was drunk. Luckily it was a 1 vehicle crash and he wasnt injured. People need to be responsible for their actions and consider the safety of others on the road.

i think it is ridiculous... i lost my best friend cuz of drinking and driving...i understand that people like to drink but if they are going to drink they need to stay at home with people that will take care of them and make sure that they are safe and not putting people in danger.

Considering that I've had, as of Sunday night with another death, 18 friends and 8 family members killed in wrecks because someone else decided to, I am totally against it and think penalties should be harsher
