Its not that easy, even if you have the tools. Which, because you're using a bobby pin, I'm assuming you dont. If you dont have the tools, go to your local hardware store and pick up a set of bolt butters and cut the lock off. You may be able the rent a set of them as well. Call around and ask.

You need two paper clips: one you straighten out with a little crook at the end, say about four mm. The other you need to have a bend.
You cannot do it with just one or the other.
Put in the doubled paper clip then use the crooked one to go in and out a number of times with only mild to moderate pressure on the doubled up clip. You will be able to feel the tumblers moving up and down. It might help to use some penetrating oil. When the lock turns it is suble, so be ready so you don't have to start again.
Good luck

I do some lock picking as a hobby and like the other answers, you will not be able to pick the lock with paper clips. If you are interested in learning, I suggest you learn with a set of picks and then be able to use paper clips when you have to. Pay the locksmith.

Just pay a locksmith to come out and open it for you. It will cost just as much to buy a lockpicking kit and get some training in using it, as it will to pay the locksmith to make a housecall.
