Hinduism (known as Hindū Dharma in some modern Indian languages[1]) is a religion that originated on the Indian subcontinent. In contemporary usage Hinduism is also referred to as Sanātana Dharma (सनातन धर्म), a Sanskrit phrase meaning "eternal law".[2]
With its origins in the Indus Valley Civilization and Vedic civilization, it has no known founder,[3][4] being itself a conglomerate of diverse beliefs and traditions. It is considered the world's oldest extant religion, [5][6] and has approximately a billion adherents, of whom about 890 million live in India,[7] placing it as the world's third largest religion after Christianity and Islam. Other countries with large Hindu populations include Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Hinduism provides a vast body of scriptures. Divided as revealed and remembered and developed over millennia, these scriptures expound on a broad of range of theology, philosophy and mythology, providing spiritual insights and guidance on the practice of dharma (religious living). Among such texts, Hindus revere the Vedas and the Upanishads and consider these as being among the foremost in authority, importance and antiquity. Other major scriptures include the Tantras and the sectarian Agamas, the Purāṇas and the epic Mahābhārata and Rāmāyaṇa. The Bhagavad Gītā, a treatise excerpted from the Mahābhārata, is sometimes called a summary of the spiritual teachings of the Vedas.

Hinduism is older than the proposal of faith. What is supposed through faith at present used to be conceptualized a lot later while the opposite religions have been taking form. Hinduism is greater than faith this can be a tradition. Then hinduism has encopmassed the whole lot that has come to India. No tyrant might demolish that spirit. It is the harmony in range which has saved hinduism relocating. And hindus are probably the most innovative intelectuals within the feel that no hindu will probably be punished if his ideas don't fit with devout experts or associations as occurred in case of Galilio. Hinduism has offerred ample freedom to humans ( you can also depart a few unhealthy practices that have come to hinduism as a result of vested pursuits). Otherwise the arguments and counter arguments (Shastrarth) used to be a good based method for proving the valued at of recent ideas.

Ok here is an answer...
There are three primary aspects God with in each universal system...Preserver, Creator, and Destroyer.
In our localized universe the creator aspect of the Supreme is know to be the four headed Lord Brahma, I add the four headed part specificly because as I said there are almost an unlimited # of universeses, all of which have a Lord Brahma. In other universes the Lord Brahma hay have many more or less heads, know that acording to the Vedas which Lord Brahma himself spoke he is four headed. There are many pastimes of Lord Brahma but for you at this time, know that through the power of the Supreme Being , Lord Brahma created almost everything within this localized univese, and other Lord Brahmas do the same in their univeses.
In the post of our Lord of Destruction, know him to be Lord Siva, also known as Maha Deva Shambu. Shambu is his name as the potent glance of the Supreme Lord. He is know as Lord Siva because he is auspicious, not only to the Holly but to those in opposition to Holliness... but you must please him to recive his blessing... He is also know as Asutosha, the easily pleased one. Please also know, it is not his daily practice, to go around and destroy every thing and lead people from the path of rightiousness, his practice is the exact opposite. He and His Wife Devi, spend most of their lives wrapped in devotional activities to the Supreme Lord. Lord Shiva is very misunderstood, please understand this fact completly... Lord Siva has been given the job of destroying all unrightiousness at the comand of the Supreme Personality, but spends his time off the job in trancendental activities of love in constant rememberence of His Lord.
And Last, but for sure not the least, the Lord of Preservation, Lord Visnu, also to be known as Maha Visnu. Not only is he in the position of preservation but it is from his navel came Atmayoni, Lord Brahma ( Atmayoni means he who was not born of a woman ) so in retrospet Lord Visnu is the father of our Lord Brahma. And as I mentioned Lord Siva to be known as Shambu, the glance of the all pervasive one, the Supreme Lord, know that glance to have come from Lord Visnu... So even though he is not directly the creator or destroyer he is the cause of both, know this for sure. There is alot of details in refference to Lord Visnu, but for you at this time this should be enough.
Hindhuism Today?
Conclude your paper with this Idea.
Hindhuism is a dense forest full of many benifcal charactres as well as many destructive animals waiting to feed on humans. Within that forest are found many snakes waiting to bite anything that may strike fear into their ever fearfull hearts.
There are also great demons disguised as powerful men of the renounced order, these so called Yogis only seek to build there own fame at any costs and will give honor to those they wish to destroy.
And finally there are real sages, who's life purify the whole Forest, world, universe and ultimately are in service to the Supreme Person.
Please excuse my spelling.
Hope this helps?
I will add one comment.
All of these teachers asking their students to write a paper on Hindhuism are very mislead. I am not attaking them, but they are basiclly throughing you into an ocean and asking you to see what is in it!
Honestly I feel sorry for all of you who have to deal with such circumstances... none of us can see in such a short moment, what the vast ocean holds in its deep waters. There fore you may see many things but just know you have not seen it all.
thanks
