Should be on the inside of the left frame rail, about even with the back of the front door.

Generaly speaking GM mounts the fuel filters inside the frame below the drivers seat. (under the truck)

sure it fairly is all element of the S10 kin. they are customary for gasoline pumps going out. It even surpassed off on my truck that's a Sonoma. First i might replace the gasoline clear out. If that doesn't artwork then examine the gasoline tension. confirm that's almost precisely what the spec is meant to be. If its low then you definately want a clean gasoline pump.
