Well, if what we "need" is, for example, lunch, I wouldn't bet on the old Creator coming through. Man, on the other hand, provides for his fellow man a variety of restaurants, delis and hot dog stands.

Depends on what you need. If you need to be a child forever, than god is you best bet.
If you need freedom, and the things adults enjoy, you trade with other adults.
It is a secret society that you have to earn you way into, we don't roll out the red carpet to children.

We naturally seek what we think we want from other people- it's natural. You naturally seek what you had as a child- if you were abandoned you seek abandoners and if you feel that you were loved unconditionally you seek that.
