I think any form of discrimination shouldn't be tolerated. Freedom comes with responsibilities. It seems most humans only take their rights, without thinking about any responsibilities that come along with those rights.
Freedom of religion is Ok by me, as long as it doesn't incite hatred or discrimination. No matter on behalf of what sort of god they speak.

No. Everyone has their own beliefs and should follow them. Gay people are the minority there for they are discriminated against because they are unlike anybody else. This isn't the way it should be, but instead of taking the easy way out and just saying you don't tolerate and you look down on those people, do something about it. Educate people on gay people and on homophobia. Homosexuality is kind of unnatural as in you don't see it every where so when you do it kind of makes people feel uneasy basically because they are uneducated about the subject, but for you it is easier to complain about it then to do something about it. You argue about people hating people because they are gay but it sounds like you hate people because of there beliefs have an open mind and give peace a chance.

Much applause and a star to you!
Hate speech should not be tolerated. Someone can hold any bigoted, hate-filled beliefs/opinions they want, like that "love the sinner, hate the sin" malarkey about LGBT people, which we all know to be hypocritical.
But when they make such prejudices known in a public forum, and try to sway others to their hatreds, this becomes hate speech and cannot be tolerated. This is why it can be prosecuted, and is specifically NOT covered by the First Amendment, as with other types of speech meant to hurt, defame, or injure others.

Although I understand what you are saying, sadly I must disagree with, at least in so much as denying someones right to believe what they want. I want the same right, so I must allow others the same, even if they vehemently disagree with me. Now, hate, is another matter. If someone wants to hate me for who I am, I can't stop that, but I can stop the spread of hate by exposing it. The best way to do that is to allow the hatemongers to open their mouths. I find that if you give them enough rope, they'll hang themselves. Trying to silence them will only drive them underground where I won't be able to see them, much less fight them.

because of the fact human beings don't have self belief all faith is the comparable. they don't have self belief that each physique gods are the comparable. in the different case, what would be the factor of worshiping God if he's merely as comparable because of the fact the different from yet another faith. it is the place the combat starts. the 1st commandment state - i'm the Lord your God, you will don't have the different gods until eventually now Me. subsequently some human beings do no longer tolerate different ideals. No compromise..

i believe that opinion and beliefs should be not only tolerated, but encouraged as long as they do not become forced upon others against their will...islam comes to mind at this present time, but christianity had its day with forced conversions, burnings at the stake and so forth and, in my opinion, this is the sort of thing that MUST NOT be allowed to happen. as i said above, islam is the only system of belief that still offers the "infidel" the choice of conversion or death...not much of a choice if you ask me...and i wont tolerate that.

In theory, I tolerate everyone's right to say stupid-@$$ things. In practice, I really get riled up about any type of prejudice. I have to try very hard not to become prejudiced myself--too often, I'll assume that if someone is Christian, they don't want me around anyway because I'm bi and/or Pagan, or they'll be mean to me. And I could be very wrong.

If we won't fight to support the rights of people to air opinions with which we don't agree then we have no right to fight to support the rights of people to air opinions with which we do agree.
No thought-policing.
Ever.
To deny others the right to air distasteful opinions is cowardice of the lowest form. I'd rather hear a thousand opinions that I find offensive than to know that even one of those opinions that I didn't hear was censored and bloodily sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.

I look down upon those whose spiritual reality includes hoping for/praying for the world to end. I know they think it will be great because their Savior will come back, but no reason can excuse the evil of that act. They belong to a cult that worships death.

I have come to realize that my big bugaboo, as it were, is lying. I don't mind honest disagreement, but I believe that we're way down the road to pretending that there is no difference whatsoever between truth and falsehood, and I don't believe that a civilization can persist without that distinction.
