You can just search for the medication and it gives you all the common side effects.

Go to either webmd or just do a random search of the drug you are looking for. It should show the side effects, or consult the literature the drug came with. The pharmacy is supposed to counsel you about the drug and you can ask questions of any pharmacist.

You can always call your local pharmacist, they will tell you or print out a medication information sheet. The sheet will list the purpose of the med, and any side effects associated with that medication.

I assume this is a prescription drug. Go to the library or bookstore and find The Physician's Desk Reference (PDR). It lists uses and side effects.
