If anything my convictions about religion, society, and politics have been strengthened by hearing how ignorant, disrespectful, and close-minded some people with other views can be.

I don't see how a question asked on here could convert anyone to a different religion.

Probably not many. But it may well have gotten people thinking. After all, is your only purpose in talking about religion to convert people? Mine is not.

I think people come here mainly to find soul mates for their own beliefs. You and me against the world type of thing. The only people who would be converted would be people who haven't found a group they can identify with yet. These Q&A help formulate ones own belief not change them.

I tend to stay away from religion questions on here because I think I might be converted. I don't want to be because I am happy with what I am practising now. (Catholic)

Two people that I know are now atheists, partly because of their participation here. That's only the two I know about for sure. I have seen others come here with already shaky faith and lose it here.

Hey, that's cute. You got the foxhole thing and the "No true Scotsman" argument rolled into one.

no, but it could plant a seed.

people scoff at religion but when they are

down on their luck bodily and physically

there seems to be "no atheist in the foxhole"

i am not a fanatic and don't usually argue

pro or con..but i am amazed at so much in-

terest in religion..personally if i was a true

atheist..i would not bother arguing the point

religion and politics are a waste of time to

argue..people already have their minds set.

A person would have to be mighty weak in faith to lose their faith as a result of a yahoo answers question.

Coversion to a religion is possible but unlikely.

Yeah - I'm not talking about religion on this site anymore, is that a conversion?

I've been converted from honesty here, because some people on R&S don't really want that. They want conformity to their ideas, and all else is rubbish to them.
