NO! That is against all the rules. Would your best friend be happy if you started dating his ex? It's not worth it to lose a friend for a guy or a girl.

It probably isn't the best decision... While it probably won't have any negative effect on you, it could really screw up their friendship... And it COULD affect you, because the new girl (the ex's BFF) could always be comparing herself to her friend, and it could get overwhelming and annoying. It will REALLY hurt your ex though, if you dump her and then go straight for her best friend... She'll feel really hurt by you and really betrayed by her best friend... I know that there aren't usually too many nice feelings towards each other once you break up, but it will REALLY hurt your ex. In a way that you really don't want to hurt anyone... And I get that this is a HYPOTHETICAL question, so sorry I said YOU everytime, but I didn't know what else to say... I guess just for ANYONE this happens too... So why'd you want to know that anyway? Is it happening with someone you know? Hope this helps!

No! That's mean and would make the ex feel awful! Plus, the friend shouldn't agree, if she is in fact a friend!

If your ex cares about her best friend, she wouldn't give you the option to date her.
