The notes require a rapid motion of the jaw--when the mouth is opened to full extent the suction of the plates are lost--the tongue thrust forward and the plates go out. I know the problem quite well. Try singing at home, you'll see what I mean

Sing something else. Maybe just hum with your mouth closed. If it happens again, try sucking on some gummy bears.
