I have been spending time with a really nice guy. We have a lot in common and have a really good time doing nothing. We haven't talked about being boyfriend and girlfriend, because we are both coming out of long relationships and we trying to move slow. He says and does sweet things, like sending cute texts and emails. And he wants to spend time with me, I just wonder how I can ask him without sounding desperate or rushing him into something he may not be ready for.

I also had a relationship with a friend like that.
There would be flirting but both of us never moved on the next level.
I was getting a little desperate, but I just sat back and waited. I wanted whatever the outcome was to be what he really wanted and what he was ready for.
Well....the waiting paid off and we become a real couple...
Oh and its almost going to be our 1 year wedding anniversary :-)

I think one it depends on how long have you two been spending time together. Also, how long have you two been out of these relationships and single. i wouldnt ask him just yet...maybe first ask if hes talking to anyone else or is romantically interested in anyone else. or simply how he feels about you.

be completely honest and ask him what his intentions are..but i think the guy should do the first moves and first talks about being in a relationship

well.......maybe if u tell him u like him as a bf then maybe he will like u to!!it sounds to me like he does coz he sends u sweet emails and stuff like that. so i say just try to talk to him.
