Yes and I've also wrote out a reply to a question of over a hundred words, taken one look at it and realised I'm talking sh!te and deleted it.

Yes. I do it quite often. Especially the ones that get asked repeatedly. I start typing, then I think, no, if they are that lazy, they can just search through the other responses that have been posted many times.

I always think about the 5 points I am going to lose. That usually keeps me from asking the really silly ones...

Sometimes I stop just because I don't want to add to the stupidity and offend people. Usually not, but it has happened.
