yes this could be a partial way of describing the Trinity. But...each person in the Trinity is a complete person...not a partial part of the Godhead like a sliver of the moon or a hand on the body.

there's no such ingredient as Trinity in the Bible. Such issues are doctrine based not the Holy Bible. Jesus is the Son of God and not in any respect as a God. Psalm 80 3:18 says: Jehovah is the main severe over all the earth. Jesus would be noted as SON OF the main severe(Luke a million:32) God isn't like the Son and from the Holy Spirit. JOHN 17:3 says God despatched his Son to the earth, not God despatched HIMSELF. JOHN a million:18 says that no person guy has considered God. whilst Jesus arrived on earth, there are maximum of persons who observed him. Trinity is extremely complicated to have confidence. why Mark 13:32 says:"Of that day or that hour no ones is conscious, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, yet only the father.” (of direction, that doesn't be the case if Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have been coequal, comprising one Godhead. And if, as some propose, the Son replaced into constrained via his human nature from understanding, the question keeps to be, Why did the Holy Spirit not understand?

God does things in threes, but is not three Himself. Father, son and holy ghost are simply titles that describe attributes of the eternal spirit; who was Jehovah G-d, a Father to His people Israel; Jesus, the heart expression of His love; and His indwelling of believers as Christ, being the holy ghost.
Father = Lord
Son = Jesus
Holy Ghost = Christ
Phillip said: Show us the Father and it will suffice. Jesus answered: Have I been with you so long and yet you do not know me Phillip?.... In John 18 Jesus also notes that it is He that will return as the comforter, the holy ghost, and not some third person. There is only one God in three manifestations or offices.
The moon light is a reflection of the sun. So should we be reflecting the Son having his presence abiding with us. Life is something called the Lord Jesus Christ, the way, the truth and the life. Our life, our health and our peace.

No, life is much more involved and complex, and much more complex is trying to explain with words what the meaning of the Holy Trinity is. There have been many scholars, over many years trying to explain what is only understood through faith and the knowledge that there are mysteries out there that we will never come to comprehend.
It is a nice analogy, but to closed, and when we mistaken that faith, the Trinity is closed to something we can see, then we are already starting from the wrong starting point.
God bless and thanks for the opportunity to spread the Gospel.

the analogy about life ............and father, son and holy spirit, seem to be different topics.
but yes, we are a reflection ( or image) of God's light.
there is only one God substance....if you wish to use light as the substance, maybe that would help....light is light...no matter how it is broken up or distributed....the father is the source of the light....the son and holy spirit are beams of light from the father source...the son and spirit are parts of the whole...

I love the way you describe it.. it makes sense, i actually felt it....yeah it might be but i think there is not a rational way to explain the holy trinity (because it is holy and beyond our knowledge) but this is a way to see it..i think it is awesome..
