Sure you will. You only have around 2300 points to get to level four. You have some good people starring your questions and many of them ask lots of questions daily. Good questions, make them your contacts and try to answer honestly and sincerely their questions and before you know it you will have a good network Q & A. Hey you have a better chance than I do to getting to level 4 friend. Let's look at it as try to climb K2 and set out together to reach the summit. Only this summit may lead to knowledge and wisdom. Not from any religion or group, but from some very wise people on this board. So put on your climbing gear it's time to go for the summit.

Reaching level 4, (momentarily contemplates using 'snatch a pebble from the hand of the master' metaphor, then decides against it).
As long as the people are not trying to pour the boiling tar onto you...
Although, on the upside, you could shorten your screen name to macadam.
Somehow, Gardening doesn't have the same 'zip' as R&S.
Over there, you discuss manure, over here, it's used as a criticism of other's work.

Have you had questions or answers removed? No? Then the main reason it is taking longer is that in this section, there are usually a great many answers to most of the questions, and therefore your answer being chosen as best has got longer odds. Also, if you are like me and tend to answer in ways that disagree with the opinion of the questioner, you cannot expect to be chosen as best very often.
Perhaps you would be better off in a "mundane" category where your personal expertise would mean your answers were chosen as best more often.
Another plan might be to sort the questions for oldest first, then for those with the fewest answers. If you are the only one who answers, or only one of a very few, you will get chosen best more often.

I have less than 1,000 points to get to level 7...I think it's becoming an unhealthy obsession.
But yes, you will reach level 4. Level 6 is the long haul...

I am sure you will if you answer more questions than you ask I am also aiming for level 7 and only need 170 or so points to get there. hopefully this week some time.

Stop asking questions, and start answers questions, and eventually you will get there.
(Meanwhile, I will turn the temptature down a notch on the boiling tar, but only for today...) :)

You have to get to level 2 first. Little steps will get you there just as big jumps will. Sit back and enjoy.
