No. Usually the content of horoscopes or numerology is so broad that it fits into most people's lives. It's done that way intentionally, to get people to believe it so they keep reading it or buying it.

I can only address tarot; I do not know about numerology or other such topics. I use Tarot as a means to understand ones self. The images and issues raised by Tarot cards are rather universal and instruct us in guided living. While I'd say it is a bit more than just letting a good book of helpful quotes fall open and then you accept that quotation it's in a sense a source of applicable information. I think of it like dream interpretation (while some would say dreams are just random nonsense). Second, I have found that by my practicing with Tarot for the last 2 years, my "psychic" abilities have improved. Generally, I seem to be more likely to expect things, anticipate things, know who's calling by the "sound' of the ring, etc.

Well as your calling it crap, you've already given the answer.
Christianity isn't the "only way" and there are different Christian paths as well. I actually know quite a few Christians that do use Tarot. Actually the group responsible for the re-emergence or the emergence of Tarot as a tool included many considered Christian Mystics. Notice the word Christian there...
If you want to start throwing around what the old testament says maybe you should check all the rest of the commandments, including sacrifice 10 is only the number of the "main" ones.

We humans are telepathic and psychic, we are all connected. Naturally so. This manifests when we use such things such as Tarot cards, runes, numerology, astrology etc.
They are simply tools which we can use. We shouldn't take them as a prophecy of something that will absolutely happen but as an indication of something that might happen because they help us pick up on our inner psyche and our connection with our higher selves. There are signs and symbols that should be noticed and paid attention to just as well as physical symptoms such as headaches and stomachaches.
They all boil down to the same thing. Watch what goes on in your life, use the tools that you choose and you will see that they are all connected and make perfect sense.

Hi, best advice I can give is..don't pay for crap, crap should be free.
Don't believe anything - use your sense, that comes free.
Do what you want, have a good time, life is short.
Don't believe in all that god stuff. Would a loving, caring god make war? Give babies cancer? Kill the people you love? Give you a beautiful day and then rain on your barbeque?
Answers itself really. Only a bad god would do all that....

like all self knowledge having to think about what you want to know often leads us to the answer we need .
some people find it through cards some throug counsel ling and some through religion it is not what you use but what you do with the knowledge of self seeking answers gives you
some card readers do cold readings and it is your own respondce that provides the answers
reading the bible will lead you to passages that met your needs
Counsel ling will help you think of your own answers
Does it matter how we get to the point where we are growing and becoming better people isn't it more important that we get there
bye all

Scripture is very clear on God condemning those who follow fortune telling. When people turn their destinies over to the occultic practices, they are turning away from God. Zechariah 10:2 states, "For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; They confront in vain; therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled because there was no Shepherd." Therefore, in following these false teachings, one becomes lost. One can not serve two gods. Nor can we ignore one and play with the other.
As a Christian, you should be aware of the dangers of this occultic practice. Luke reveals the source of these fortuneteller's powers in Acts 16: 16- 18. Paul encounters the damsel who tells fortunes. He knows she has a demon processing her and frees her. Once free of the demon, her ability to tell fortunes ceases. In Acts 13: 6-12, Paul demonstrates God's power over a false prophet. He specifically calls the false prophet a child of the devil who prevents the right ways of the Lord. Finally, in Acts 19:18-20, many who believed who had previously used occultic practices burned their books on the subjects. Scripture tells us that the value of those books was about $32,000 but, after burning them, mightily grew the word of the Lord.
The Scriptures are quite clear that any source of power with this and other occultic practices is demonic and forbidden by God. Those who came to the Lord destroyed their knowledge of this practice. It is also your Christian obligation to warn those of the dangers they will encounter being tempted to try or follow the mystic practice of Tarot cards.

The best advice I can give you is to read The Demon-Haunted World, by Carl Sagan. He gives an excellent account of how we know what we know and how we can distinguish between valid ideas and nonsense.
