Isn't it assuming rather a lot if anyone not of your faith is designated 'spiritually dead'. It's worse when you shorten it to 'spreadone' which doesn't even preserve the letter order.

Plus it sounds like crap, and it makes me think of sex (but to be fair, nearly everything does, it is spring)

Of course, once someone else pointed it out, it became perfectly clear to me.
It's about calling people to God.
And here I was ignoring the questions because I found them vaguely offensive.
Now I've blown another opportunity at life eternal.
Damn, I say.
I curse my foolishness.
If I had had the ethic of curiosity that atheists follow, I would've looked at those questions.
I'm such a silly, opportunity missing Heathen, sometimes.
No, no... Don't feel sorry for me, I probably don't deserve heaven, unless they have a section for dunderheads.

Acid Zebra, I don't know about you, but being called a "spreadone" has opened my eyes. I have had a revalation. I've accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior, have vowed to never again wear a skirt any shorter than my ankles, and to find a more exclusive church. i mean, I want a good one, not one of those pansy churches...I'm looking into Westboro Baptist.

I'll pray for you.

;)

I believe your strong instinct drove you right to the correct thought: sex.!!
Because when... practising sex we lose not only our breath, light, senses, but soul as well!!

Let them be! Enjoy Spring and whatever comes with it.

Spreadone?

Oh the mental images that made up word creates! LMAO. (Yes, I have a dirty mind too. That word sounds like something done in a porno flick.)

It's a similar tactic to the one they've been using for years to drive homosexuals away from the church.

Now, as long as we are on the subject of why people ask questions the way they do on Answers, I will ask why you chose to make this a separate question of your own (and paying points to do it), rather than an answer to the "spiritually dead" question? I saw that questions myself, and decided it was probably not worth reporting it, but also not worth answering it.

If you wanted to respond to the question, why not write an answer and earn two points, instead of spending your points (is it still five points these days?) to ask this clearly rhetorical question?

It doesn't, it is actually making people not want to hear the good name of Christ. So which Lord does that serve?

It's another way for them to show how much holier-than-thou they are and to insult others who do not believe as they do. Par for the course if you ask me. I won't let it bother me. I won't give the word any power.

You're only giving him attention! just hush and let him pout in the corner, and he'll eventually go play with himself.

And speaking of sex, am I the only atheist who now giggles whenever they invoke the name of you-know-who at those "special moments"?!
