Everyone at the gym is so much bigger than I am, not taller just bigger. I'm like a stick compared to most of the guys there, even when compared to some of the girls!!

I feel so self-conscious and I thought about not going several times, but I kept my head straight and continue going.

Do you guys have any advice for me to ease up on my self-consciousness?

Thanks!!!

There are lots of other people at the same gym thinking the same way you are. Obviously if other people are there, they know they have faults to improve also. Don't sweat it, in a couple months people will be looking at you feeling intimidated!

Keep up the good work!

~You are lovely, in each unmarried means~ Maybe the purpose why you are in particular self-aware within the health club is for the reason that persons round you appear like legitimate frame developers/athletes/capabilities items. Well, do recognize that they began the way you (and every person else) did. Similarly, in public, do recognize that no person honestly CARES how any one else appear like. Why could they? They do not even recognize us. No want for the 'further affection' :P If it makes you consider any higher, pass appear up photographs of much less 'lovely' persons. Then once more, you'll uncover that there's a tale at the back of every unmarried one in every of them. Just such as you do. It might encourage, it would possibly not however, it must.

The more you'll work out, the better you'll feel and look and the less self-conscious you'll be. As long as you're working out you'll at least get tone if not bulk up. We all have different body types and different things we're good at. Our physical body is only one aspect of who we are...and if yours is in healthy shape, then you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Remember that you are there to better yourself in comparison to where you are now. Don't compare yourself to other people, or feel self-conscious. You are doing great, and improving yourself, and that is what matters!

You know, most people probably aren't even looking at you or judging you. If anything, they are thinking that it's great that you are still going. Most people are more concerned about getting their workout done so they can move on with their day. Keep your chin up and be proud :)
