I had a trojan do my hard drive in. I had it wiped and formatted, then tried to load xp back on it. I get half way through the set up, and it says ntldl missing, and it stops. it says press any key to rtesume download, but it keeps saying ntldl missing. Any suggestions ? thanks.

The CD drive is not reading the CD properly. Clean the CD and try again. if this still does not work you will need to get a CD repair kit from a computer store or somehow get another Windows XP CD disk.
