Re-ask the question and try to get the correct answer.

Aaron,
On this site it is not possible to do so. You can reask the question and then choose an answer that truly answers the question. There are a number of questions that are voted upon and not picked by the asker on here. They seem to get votes from friends rather than by the answer at times. Have a great day!
Thanks,
Eds

Well the answer might not be right, but it was the best for the person asking the question. You'll see alot of it. If you want just ask a new question about the original question, and the best answer.

There isn't much you can do to "correct" the answer given. Most answers are a matter of opinion anyway, and who is to say that your opinion is more factual than the one given. Unless that is, you have unrefutable proof of your answer. What you can do is go to the comment link below the answer, click on add comment and place your comment or answer there. But space is limited.

The best you can do is add a comment. There is no "report an error" function. "2 + 2" is now decided by a plurality.

You aren't the answer police. It's not up to you to tell someone else that the answer they picked as best answer is not right.

there is no 'correcting' it. the asker chose the answer he or she thought was best, and that's his or her prerogative. you're free to leave comments on the question and/or answer if you'd like.
