Shaving with a women's electric shaver is the easiest and most comfortable way to remove pubic hair. I think it's also the least expensive. A waxing appointment usually costs about $40 or $50 if you want to remove all of the hair. You don't have to shave every day. You can get by if you only shave twice a week. The hair down there does not grow very fast. You will always have some stubble if you shave. It's impossible to stay smooth all of the time even if you wax, because waxing lasts two or three weeks. You can use a razor too, but you are more likely to cut yourself or get ingrown hairs. It's best to use a women's electric shaver. You should use plenty of lotion after you shave, or you might get a rash.

Easiest most convient way is to use a razor and shave. The results don't last that long, but it's fast removal. Waxing will initially hurt but the results will last up to a week and will be smooth. Make sure you trim the hair down if it's your first time.

I use a razor myself. Just expect that area to be tremendously sensitive for quite some time.
I have known some girls to use Nair or similar too. But you have to be prepared for pain to do that - pulling the last of the hairs out hurts real real bad. And if you do it just right, you will never have to worry about hair in that spot ever again... But that may be torture - to leave Nair on that long is like being branded with a hot branding iron.

waxing, shaving is obviously less painful initialy, but the regrowth, rashes, and the fact that you have to do it like every day mean that it is less comfortable and easy in the long run.
also, to be honest, waxing really isnt as painful as people make out it is. get your legs or armpits done to 'sample' the pain, and you'll see its not that bad.
wateva u do, dont use hair removal cream. its not better than shaving, despite what people say, it removes the hair above the skin, and you get the same regrowth and rashes. it also stinks, its messy, and it HURTS if you get it in the non hairy bikini area. lol

For a girl or guy, use electric clippers and clip as close to the skin as you can. By not using a blade, you avoid razor rash, and from any distance it looks like nothing. If you clip it often enough, it starts growing in sparser since there's a terminal length. Sort of like eyebrows only not so much so.
