Volunteer at an animal shelter to see if you like the work. It takes years to become a good breeder, and they don't necessarily make any money doing it.

Vet and breeder - two VERY different occupations! Also being a vet is a full time profession, breeding should be more of a hobby - it should not be about making money.

To be a vet in England you need at least 5 A-Levels including sciences and maths. So obviously you need the GCSE pre-requisite for these. You also need to be getting work experience at vet surgeries, or at least shelters, to help you get into vet school, which is VERY competitive.

So, you need to ask yourself, do you want to help better a dog breed that you love by being a responsible breeder or....
....do you want to be a surgeon/GP/dentist/oncologist (vet) and work a job that has the highest professional suicide rate? (true). And are you clever enough?

Both good choices - but hard ones!

Oh, and Cavaliers are very cute, but most are prone to obesity and heart diseases so I would imagine it is very hard to breed them responsibly - you'd have to be very picky about which ones were suitable to breed from. It's hard enough to bring up just one of them properly, you'd need some proper experience owning them first.

Visit a local vet school. Perhaps volunteer at a local shelter or rescue. Do some research on career choices. Good Luck!

Responsible breeding is an avocation, not a profession.
Breeding responsibly will COST much more money than you will make selling puppies.
All responsible breeders also have OTHER full time jobs.
