Do any of you consistantly suffer from a red rash from sensitive skin on your neck after shaving? I have had problems like this since shaving began, and no amount of after shave gel or cream fixes it. I change my blades regulary too, still to no avail.

any guys out there have this same sensitive neck skin problem and found something that makes the red irritiation less noticeable

I think over the years your skin gets tougher from shaving. I used to have that problem when I was young. Use a good razor and change the blades often.

I have to shave my neck up from the bottom. I also use cold water instead of hot and I dont use an aftershave or even wash it afterwards. i just dry with my towel and go. It seems to work for me who used to always get the same rash. I rarely get it anymore unless I use a cheap razor. i also use a triple blade with a smooth strip for sensitive skin.

I think a red rash is normal particularly on the neck area. A good blade, a good quality moisturising foam/gel, and when done you can always use a seperate mousturiser. Sometimes aftershave can burn so if thats the case best avoided or kept to areas of non-sensitivy
