Well first of all the police are probably not ready to fully explain what happened yet. It takes a while to get the paperwork together and get a good account of the happening. I doubt either of the officers were lying they may have gotten thier info second hand or through the grapevine, or made some assumptions on incomplete info. Wait for a police report on the issue. It will take them more than a day and a half to figure out what happened themselves.
Dont let your emotional state transform to anger or hate. It will prolong your recovery and will serve no usefull purpose.
Most importantly though It will be hard to remember the good times you had together without emotional breakdown. The recovery will take a while and it will go slow. Hang in there, seek some counseling. There will be a time in the future when you can think about him again without feeling sad.

I hate to be rude, but the Police are doing their jobs, your brother was racing, and that is illegal, if he was being chased by the Police, and he crashed, its not their fault, its his. In many cases, while there is an investigation going on, they cannot speak to people about the incident. Look, the fact is your brother was doing something he shouldn't, and its sad that he lost his life, but you can't place blame on the Police officers who were doing their jobs.
Look, I am sorry for your loss, I lost a good friend who was as close to me as a brother, and I understand how you feel. You need to speak with a professional grief counselor to help you through this time in your life. If anything, let good come of this, use his death as a starting place to raise awareness of the dangers of racing, encourage the community to help the Police lower the ammount that goes on, the community can have a major impact on what goes on. I hope this help, and I am sorry for your loss.

Possibly one cop was on duty when it happened, the other wasn't. What they may be hiding, could be the details that are hurtful. They could also be keeping to laws that effect your brother's rights(your familie's too). My younger brother shot himself, grief makes all this seem horrible. It's not all a conspiracy-there are some things they are legally bound not to tell you. The police stay within guidelines regulated by courts. My youngest brother became a cop, so we never talked about his work-they just can't.

You say you are college educated, but only 16?
You still type like a fifth grader. And shouldn't you be worried about getting your child back? I mean, IF your brother really died then you should be with your family but also doing what you can to get your child back from CPS, NOT posting on Yahoo. Clearly your priorities are mixed up.
Again, finish high school, get your diploma or GED, go to college...focus on becoming a better parent and member of society. Get a job, and don't do drugs.

Please accept my condolences. So sorry for the loss your whole family has to endure. From what you wrote it sounds like a possible homicide not a cold case. Cold cases are cases that have been investigated and that no new conclusion leading to an arrest have been made.
Check out the websites below
Hope the websites listed can be of some assistance to you, again I offer my condolences

Sorry.
This is a situation for the adults of your family to handle. They know more details, you said so yourself, and they are in a better position to do what needs to be done.
Please find someone you can talk to. The internet is a dark and hollow place and cannot offer you the comfort that you need right now. :(

I too lost a brother 2 years ago. We were VERY close, I felt like I lost my right arm when he died. Yet, we would talk about many things when he was alive, life, death, etc, etc. My brother still lives, but not as I am used to seeing him. He is dead, but has not gone anywhere, because he lives in my heart. I will NEVER, ever forget him!!!!!!

I am so so sorry! I feel your pain! I know how it feels to be that scared and lonely. I would suggest you to think about what advantages this has. Wouldnt you rather have him in heaven than stay on earth and suffer?
