Shampoo is pretty much just shampoo. If you check the ingredients you will see that they contain some kind of detergent (amounts vary), lathering agent, and color and fragrance. If you use a lot of product (hair spray, mousse, gel, etc) you may want to periodically use a "clarifying shampoo" which contains a higher percentage of detergent to get rid of the buildup. Otherwise, go for what's on sale.

yes, it does matter!! you have to use shampoo that fits your hair and works good some shampoos can over mositure your hair or dry it out too much so you should try alot of diffrent types of shampoo till you find the right kind that fits your hair and the same conditioner!!!!

it matters a lot. try to use a shampoo that will suit your hair type. many shampoo manufacturer have several type of shampoo so consumer would have choices to choose from... normal, oily, dry and damaged, anti dandruff....

hi its Teena here. of course it matters dude.
if u use a shampoo which is full of chemicals your hair may become rough u know. all u should use is a mild shampoo and a conditioner. that's all! u shall have a good shiny black hair. u should oil your hair too........

well it depends.
you know your hair better than we do.
it matters for me simply because i gotta use anti-dandruff ones.
likewise you'd tend to use certain shampoos if you have excessively oily hair, or dry, or damaged...the list could go on forever.

of course it matters! if you have greasy hair try using one for dry hair and see how quicker you have will be greasy! after all the studies and testing that hair care manufacturers do, it would be an insult to think that they are all the same.

Yes it most certainly does matter. The best kind to use is what your stylist recommends. They know your hair and can tell you what to use to make it look the best.
