Christian and Muslim belief have many aspects in common. Judaism too shares many beliefs with Islam. All true adherents of these three great religions:

believe that God has created the entire universe out of nothing and that He dominates all that exists with His omnipotence.

believe that God has created man and living things in a miraculous way and that man possesses a soul granted him by God.

believe that besides Jesus, Moses or Muhammad, God sent many prophets such as Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Joseph throughout history, and they love all these prophets.

believe in resurrection, Heaven and Hell and angels, and that God has created our lives with a certain destiny.
The beliefs of the People of the Book are in harmony with Muslims, not only in terms of faith-related issues, but also of moral values. Today, in a world where such immoralities as adultery, homosexuality, drug addiction and a model of egoism and self-seeking cruelty have grown widespread, the People of the Book and Muslims share the same virtues: Honor, chastity, humility, self-sacrifice, honesty, compassion, mercy and unconditional love…

According To The Koran, Muslims, Jews And Christians Should Live In Friendship

It is evident there are ample grounds for an alliance between the "People of the Book" and Muslims. This is also very evident in the Koran. In the relevant verses of the Koran, there is a significant difference between the People of the Book and the idolaters. This is especially emphasized in the area of social life. For example, it is said concerning the idolaters: "(they) are unclean, so after this year they should not come near the Masjid al-Haram (Kaaba)." (Surat at-Tawba: 28) Idolaters are people who obey no divine law, have no moral precepts and who are capable of committing every kind of degrading and perverse action without hesitation.

But while they basically rely on God's revelation, the People of the Book have moral precepts and know what is lawful and what is not. For this reason, if one of the People of the Book cooks some food, it is lawful for Muslims to eat it. In the same way, permission has been given for a Muslim man to marry a woman from among the People of the Book. On this subject God commands:

Today all good things have been made lawful for you. And the food of those given the Book is also lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. So are chaste women from among the believers and chaste women of those given the Book before you, once you have given them their dowries in marriage, not in fornication or taking them as lovers. But as for anyone who disbelieve, his actions will come to nothing and in the hereafter he will be among the losers. (Surat al-Mai'da: 5)

These commands show that bonds of kinship may be established as a result of the marriage of a Muslim with a woman from the People of the Book, and that those on each side of the union can accept an invitation to a meal. These are the fundamentals that will ensure the establishment of equitable human relationships and a happy communal life. Since the Koran enjoins this equitable and tolerant attitude, it is unthinkable that a Muslim could take an opposing view.

We both believe in One God but the point where we conflict is where Christians believe that Jesus was the son of God whereas, us Muslims believe that God doesn't have a family and Jesus was just a Prophet of his, not a son. That's the main similarity and difference between Islam and Christianity.
Other similarities include our prophets and many of our rules and beliefs.

We have everything in Common except four points; 1- we believe that Jesus didn't die and wasn't crucified. 2- we believe that Allah (God) has no son. 3- Christians don't believe that Quran is inspired to Muhammad as a real prophet. 4- Christians have popes who are the representatives of God, while Muslims have no representative between themselves and God.

Other than that, we both believe in the afterlife, heaven and hell, we both praise Jesus and mother Mary, some Christian sects forbids Pork and Wine - as you might know better than me - We all believe in the same prophets, we both raise prayers and Fast, pay charity and do pilgrimage.

Belief in God , belief in many of the same prophets, love for Jesus and his mother Mary (peace be upon them), belief in angels, heaven and hell, belief in the end of time, belief that Jesus (pbuh) will come back at the end of time, belief that Jesus is the Messiah and was born of a miraculous birth and performed miracles, by the grace of God. These are just a few. Someone else may think of other shared beliefs and values. These are what spring to mind right now.
Hope this helps.

Abraham is the father of three religions. ( Judaism, Christianity, Islamism.)All of their holy books, ie,Bible, Torrah, Koran actually are pretty similar and all contain some of the same items. All of these religions are monotheism.Mankind has changed each of these religions in some way and I believe most have gotten away from the original faith in them. I wish I were more well versed on this topic.

I am a Lady Christian Minister and Church President..christians and muslims do not have anything in common.. Christian means= I follow the teachings of King Jesus. I believe there is one Father, and there is one saviour (Jesus Christ), and one Holy Spirit sent forth from the father..and we must pray to the Father in the name of Jesus, because Jesus is our intercessor..Muslims believe that there is one God, but the God that they serve do not have a saviour whose name is JESUS..Muslims do not believe in praying to the Father in Jesus name..Praying to the Father, in Jesus's name, is extremely mandatory in the Christian faith..A muslim congregation will never do this..Since we serve two different God's we have nothing in common.. also please note..There are different types of Christians..Some Christians believe Jesus is the Father..others believe that There is one Almighty Father, and a seperate saviour ( Jesus )..I am willing to speak with a muslim if any would like to send me an email..

We are odintay people who worship our God.

Every one think his way is true. We should be hear for seeking truth not hurt each other or hate them just because they have different opinion or wrong.

We also don't have right don't respect each other beliefs just becasue they are untrue or wrong.

Because the truth will always stay clean from any dirty. no matter if we be in wrong or not.

In end I can add this that our belifes is different but our creator is same.

I think you would be suprised just how much we do have in common. We believe in God/Allah. We both believe that Jesus will return. We believ in Abraham, Moses etc.. all these prophets. I think the buggest difference between us is seeing Jesus as a song of God vs as a prophet.

monotheism, and general acceptance of most of the Old Testament.

My understanding is that Muslims reject the divinity of Christ, so that is a fundamental difference.

every thing except, we don't drink alcohol, or eat pork, and we believe that Jesus is the messenger of god, we totally respect him and love him , we don't worship him as a god , but we believe in god. ..what is similar, the rest. so mainly when people try to talk about god ,problems starts, that's why we shouldn't ,unless we want to learn about each other religion, and we shouldn't try to prove anybody wrong, we have to respect each other.
