Just want to know if it is really gonna destroy my hair.

Not necessarily, using a lot of shampoo is more a waste of shampoo that damaging, unless you rinse, shampoo, rinse, shampoo, in several cycles in one shower. What can be more damaging though (than using a lot of shampoo) is the type of shampoo you use.

There are some though that would say cut the "poo" out altergether, though.

It depends! What type of hair you have curly, oily, dry. You don't really need to use a lot depend on length of your hair. Probably two tablespoonful x 2 depends how thick the shampoo is don't forget conditioner

DEFINITELY yes - If you shampoo too much, you can strip your hair and scalp of the good natural oil that gives it flexibility and strength and shine... You need to be gentle with your hair!
